Children can be given the pictures and the sentence cards. They should
match the sentence cards with the pictures.
The teacher can prepare various sets of cards like, names of States and
the corresponding languages spoken, or the names of the festivals and
religions. The following set also can be given for matching.
1. Mosque Sikh
2. Temple Christian
3. Gurudwara Parsis
4. Church Jew
5. Agyari Hindu
6. Synagogue Muslim
i) Children can be asked to match books with their authors
ii) The two sets of cards can be of great people of the world and their good
qualities. (Mother Teresa, Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Winston
Churchill, Vivekananda etc.)
iii) The first set should have pictures of great men of the world and the
second set should have their corresponding qualities. The children must be
asked to identify the great men and match the right quality with each
