How Many

5- 14 Years

Value Inculcated: Team spirit and Co-operation

Materials Required: Music to play or a whistle

Preparatory efforts: None

Children keep running in a circle clapping their hands and asking How many?”
repeatedly between their claps. Music can be going on. When the music stops
(or the whistle blows), the teacher says a number, e.g. 3. Then children
should form groups of 3. The number called out depends on the number of
children playing. The children who cannot form a group are declared out.

The game continues till only one child remains who will be the winner.
